UNBOUND GLORY FARM
Regenerative Agriculture in Pomfret, CT
Learning Opportunities
Looking to immerse yourself in learning about Regenerative Agriculture?
We offer internship opportunities from April through early November to come and learn all about what we do. We hope that our program helps to spread the word about Regenerative Agriculture while sparking a transformation for a healthier food system that also combats climate change. We have had interns join us who are interested in pursuing jobs in agriculture and food policy, who are studying food systems and wanting to learn more about where their food comes from, and even recent PhD grads who are excited to get out of the lab and do some meaningful hands-on work. We are always excited to see our interns take what they’ve learned here into their future endeavors. Although not all have moved on to work in the field of agriculture, 4 of our former interns have remained in the industry doing everything from farm manager positions, to working in farm policy in the Midwest, to even working for one of the top US seed companies (Johnny's in Maine). We have been hosting interns here for 8 years, and we truly enjoy passing on our knowledge to the next generation (and having a fun time in the process)!!

We have also worked with interns in the past who have been able to receive college credit through their internship with us- we are more than happy to help them meet the necessary requirements for their particular college or university and are well-versed in making sure we do everything possible to help our interns secure their well-earned credits!
**We offer room and board for the duration of the internships. To find out more, email us at info@unboundgloryfarm.com

Here's what some of our former interns have to say about their experience:
"I spent one of the best summers of my life at Unbound Glory! Courtney and Adam are extremely passionate about growing good and nutritious food for people; while also making sure they are not damaging the land and ecosystems that feed us. My time there has hugely impacted my life and the way I view the food systems in this country. I think anyone could benefit from working with them, even if you don't intend to go into farming! They have loads of knowledge to share, as well as some very tasty veggies and pizza. If you have the ability to spend a few months with them, take the chance. You will not regret it!"

"I loved my time at Unbound Glory! Courtney and Adam are incredibly warm and welcoming, and they love to teach. They have a beautiful farm and truly care about their work. Several years later and I am working in agriculture full time, with partial credit to them for the educational and impactful experience I had at Unbound Glory. The work will kick your butt some days, but it's immensely gratifying and I recommend it to anyone considering!"
--Cara D.
" I loved my time at Unbound Glory Farm! As an anxious person, Adam and Courtney provided a wonderful environment where I could flourish and learn throughout the summer. I was able to learn and practice important techniques to understand the process of growing food for profit AND for health. The skills and knowledge I picked up during my internship was immensely helpful to my return to school (where I got college credit for my internship), and will continue to guide me throughout my future career in agriculture."
